Goodreads' Synopsis:
Feyre is immortal.
After rescuing her lover Tamlin from the wicked Faerie Queen, she returns to the Spring Court possessing the powers of the High Fae. But Feyre cannot forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin's people - nor the bargain she made with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court.
As Feyre is drawn ever deeper into Rhysand's dark web of politics and passion, war is looming and an evil far greater than any queen threatens to destroy everything Feyre has fought for. She must confront her past, embrace her gifts and decide her fate.
She must surrender her heart to heal a world torn in two.

Book Review:

This book! Where do I even start?? I don't think anything I write will do this book justice. From start to finish I was hooked, by the last handful of chapters I was on the edge of my seat and my heart was racing!
We follow Feyre once again as she is plagued with guilt about what she needed to do Under The Mountain to save Tamlin and the Fae population. She has nightmares and is generally unhappy, the more she tries to heal, the worse she feels. Even though she knows it was for the greater good, she needs to keep reminding herself that she is safe.
Then there is the deal that she struck with Rhysand, the High Lord of the Night Court, in order to stay alive. She is to be a guest in his home for one week every month.

I don't want to give anything away for those who haven't read it or who haven't finished it.

What I will say is that my opinion of certain characters changed throughout the book which I wasn't expecting, but I was so very happy about it! I was itching for Feyre and Rhysand to fall in love..(the inner romantic coming through I know!) their chemistry was just so real and easy and you just knew that they had to be together!
As Feyre learned to use her powers and become a fighter, thanks to Rhysand and his inner circle, she began to become herself again.
THE ENDING!! OH. MY. GOD!
I didn't want it to end where it did! I have so many questions and I have to wait until MARCH to get the answers! I don't think I can survive that long! What am I going to do!

I need to discuss this book with fellow lovers out there! Leave a comment and let's chat..I am not quite ready to leave Prythian behind just yet!

Thanks for reading my review of A Court of Mist and Fury I hope you enjoyed it. If you have not read this series, you need to go out and buy the books now and read them! But be warned for heartbreak when you get to the end and need to wait for the next one (why so long Sarah???)
Until next time, happy reading!

About the Author:

Sarah lives in Bucks County, PA, and over the years she has developed an unhealthy appreciation for Disney movies and bad pop music. She adores fairy tales and ballet, drinks too much tea, and watches an ungodly amount of TV. When she is not busy writing, she can be found exploring the historic and beautiful Pennsylvania countryside with her husband and canine companion. (Goodreads)
